Each plant has to have some space in the soil for better growth; over crowding plants in small space makes them dwarf and seriously affect the quality of the vegetables. Some plants can be grown in containers also. It is a best practice to start growing vegetables in containers while learning. Starting small makes the learning process more smooth and easy. Preparing the soil for vegetable garden planting is a vast subject but for beginners and for the people growing for self consumption minimum required knowledge is enough. While planting the seeds or starter plants you must make sure that you leave some space in between so that plants can grow vegetables can grow to their full and you get better quality vegetables.
